Sharkbite check valve on main water line?

Hi ALl,
Is it acceptable to install a 1' Sharkbite check valve (see picture) on the main supply line after the water softener? Its rated for 150 PSI and 200F. Our pressure after PRV (installed 3 months back) is never above 80 PSI.
FYI, I have a backflow preventer before the pressure regulator valve. I want to install this check valve to prevent the backflow of water to the water softener.
